  • leave one browser window open for your Our Unit work
  • Logoff each time you are done using Our Unit for a while
  • return to click Login in that same one browser window within 10 hours on one day
you should only have to enter your CalNet credentials for the first Login in that window during that period.

New IT role, help tracking scanned hardware and installed software - 3/21/08
Human Resources may now assign IT privileges to staff members who will maintain information about which machines have been scanned for restricted data elements, per campus audit requirements. PIs, their delegates, and IT-privileged users should see the new Maintain IT hardware link on the Our Unit page. These people may also add records to track software licenses installed on hardware.

If you are not already using online purchasing, travel, and expense reimbursement, or merit case, or faculty and personal page template tools, talk with your Administrative team about enabling these functions for you.
